Boat Style's floating showroom, Sirocco, got a much needed exterior update this month. Working with our marine trimmer, Phil Baker & his expert team ensured a top quality finish.

Firstly, a new dodger & bimini to replace the original covers. Despite being only 3 years old the Beneteau factory fitted covers just didn't handle the harsh Australian sun. What is considered uv stable for cruising the Med just doesn't cut it in our harsh Australian conditions.

For Sirocco, Seamark was chosen for its waterproof qualities, as the skipper & first mate were sick of being dripped on while sitting in the cockpit. Zip on, zip off sides with Strataglass clears were fitted for those cold/wet/windy days, allowing full use of the cockpit area while at anchor. 

For the new cockpit cushions we used a combination of EVA (tough & durable) and a soft topping of Quick Dry Foam. Sunbrella marine canvas in cadet grey was chosen for its durable, easy clean qualities and to blend perfectly with the bimini, dodger and decking.    

Finally, some finishing touches. All weather throw pillows add comfort and a touch of luxury. For these, I chose Trina Turk's Paradise Collection by F. Schumacher.

 These vibrant indoor/outdoor fabrics love the outdoors, don't fade, stain resistant, can get wet & don’t get mouldy. These were tethered so they don’t get lost overboard. When cruising, I like to leave pillows in the cockpit, so guests can sit back and relax.

Next our super soft beach towels in soft Storm grey from Baksana. Perfect for boating these bamboo and cotton towels are anti-microbial & don't get dank & dry much faster than pure cotton towels. A couple of embroidered bath mats give that personalised touch and stop water & dirt going below.
